A look at Nokia’s 6760 Slide

Nokia has launched its 6760 Slide in India, the handset which was recently launched as Nokia ‘Surge’ for the US-based AT&T network.

The 2.4-inch TFT screen displays 16 million colors at 320×240 pixels. There is also a 5-way joypad on the top along with the usual Nokia button and three multimedia keys. The phone weighs only 123 gm.

As the phone still bears a 2.5-mm headphone jack, its attention to multimedia seems to be under doubt.

The camera features a 3.15-megapixel CMOS sensor and can also record a QVGA video. But the sad part is that it does not have autofocus or LED flash for still images.

The in-built memory stands at 128MB, which is expandable up to 8GB via a microSD card. Other features include 3G compatibility, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, microUSB port and GPS and A-GPS.

Though it also comes pre-loaded with a Quickoffice and PDF reader, but it does not take care of the business clientele.

Retail priced at Rs.14000 0r $180 , the Nokia 6760 Slide is available in three colours – red, black and white.
